  1. Trying to remember the rhyme... red sky at night, that's a good thing, right? :-)

    1. The rhyme is "red sky in the morning sailor warning, red sky at night a sailors delight" Personally I like a red sky in the morning as it is the first thing I see when I come out the barn in the morning, however usually the day just gets darker! Looks like you are in the winter mode here with your new header!! A little too icy for me!

I can only post on your blog by hitting reply. There appears to be no comment button ( that I can see) probably me! Your know....blonde!

Cold here today. Well below freezing, and cloudy, snowy looking,,,yuck!

    2. Kristina, thank you and you are welcome! I bet your pics came out beautifully! Hope you post them sometime. Would love to see them.

Marilyn, That is really odd. When I am not signed it, it comes up on my end. If anyone else is having problems with it, please let me know. It looks like it worked for Kristina. Sorry you are having problems. Does that mean that you can only post a comment after someone else has, and not able to if no comments have been made?

Thank you so much (and thank you to Uisce) for sharing that poem! I had never heard that before, but really like it.

I was going to do a Christmas background, but I didn't want to have to change it again right after Christmas so just went with a winter background to leave up all winter. Plus, I was trying to think cool thoughts. It has actually been hot here (very unseasonably!) Last weekend stayed at nearly 80°F, then 70s(F) all week. Been in a big battle against ticks and fleas on the dogs and cats. But I think I overdid it with the cool thoughts, as now they are predicting a possible rain/snow mix for Sunday! That ice pic was at my house 3 years ago. That storm knocked out my power for 10 days!

    3. Nice picture actually. You did a good job with the header.I prefer winter scenes over Christmas ones anyway. Got any snowman ones? We had it terribly cold the last few days and it is about 7C(40F) today which for us is warm. I'm back into my lighter skirts today.
